After receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree Amanda worked in the corporate world. She later enjoyed being a stay at home mom to her three children. In the spring of 2004 she had unrelenting allergies, tried acupuncture and Chinese herbs. After two treatments her allergies stopped and a love affair with Oriental medicine blossomed that continues to inspire her to this day.
Amanda earned her Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts. She is certified as Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This certification confers board certification in Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine. She is licensed in the state of North Carolina.
Amanda enjoys serving those who have embarked on a healing journey. Her intent is to bring the body, mind, and spirit back to a state of harmony which opens the door for self-healing.
